On March 9, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a document directing the implementation of the results of price management and operation in 2024 and the orientation for price management and operation in 2025.
Khanh Hoa province directs departments and branches to closely monitor supply and demand developments, market prices, especially items subject to price stabilization, essential goods and services under the management authority of the province to have appropriate management measures for each period.
Currently, the Department of Finance will preside over inspection and supervision of declaration, price listing, and sale at listed prices, strictly handling acts of taking advantage of the situation to unreasonably increase prices and acts of violating the law on prices according to its authority.
Along with that, focus on ensuring the balance of supply and demand of goods, proactively reserve essential consumer goods to fully meet the consumption needs of the people at the end of the year and the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Ensure smooth supply, circulation and distribution of goods, organize distribution channels, trade promotion programs, stimulate consumption, support the consumption of goods, and maximize the domestic market.
Promote the role of unit enterprises, shopping malls, and supermarkets in participating in market stabilization programs, contributing to ensuring supply and stabilizing domestic prices.
Continue to review to implement the roadmap for adjusting public service prices according to the market roadmap and goods managed by the State according to market principles; conduct careful assessment and calculation of impact to avoid causing great disruption to price levels, greatly affecting people's lives, ensuring the goal of controlling inflation.
