The People's Council of Thuy Nguyen City passed a Resolution to adjust and supplement (11th times) the 5-year medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025. In particular, adjusting and adding the source of increased budget revenue in 2024 of Thuy Nguyen City to the total medium-term public investment capital for the period 2021-2025; adjusting and supplementing capital sources according to Decision No. 836 of Hai Phong City People's Committee and adjusting and supplementing the capital plan for the period 2021-2025 for some transitional projects; adding the list and capital allocation level for the period 2021-2025 for 10 newly started projects in 2025.
Previously, the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen City assigned the specialized agency to prepare a report proposing investment policies for the projects, seek opinions from the Standing Committee of the Thuy Nguyen City Party Committee, and decide on investment policies for 10 projects with a total approved investment of VND 58,297 million.
Of these 10 projects, there are 2 projects in the cultural - social field; 1 project in the environmental field and 7 projects and works to install fire prevention and fighting equipment in kindergartens. The projects are being implemented to ensure the task of socio-economic development, preserving historical values; overcoming some school projects that are not synchronized with the fire prevention and fighting system, not ensuring compliance with regulations.
The meeting also approved the adjustment and supplementation (1st time) of the city's public investment plan for 2025. In particular, the total public investment capital in 2025 will be adjusted to increase to VND1,414.273 billion, an increase of VND1,070.405 billion.
The adjustment and supplementation of the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 and the adjustment and supplementation of the public investment plan for 2025 contribute to the timely arrangement of projects, promoting the disbursement progress of the public investment capital plan of Thuy Nguyen City.
