Bitcoin price at the opening of the session was at 8536.68 USD. The highest Bitcoin price recorded in the past 24 hours was 8622.73 USD. The lowest Bitcoin price recorded in the past 24 hours was 8455.86 USD.
Over the past week, Bitcoin prices have had a large price increase since the beginning of 2019. Bitcoin (BTC) soared above $9,000 on May 30 but quickly reversed and decreased to a low of $8,034.31 within a few hours.
Currently, Bitcoin price is trying to stay above the price of 8,000 USD. The trend continued as both moving averages stepped up and the RSI was in the positive zone. However, the negative phase difference in the RSI index ensures caution.
In a good scenario, if the BTC/USD pair increases above $9,053.12, experts predict that Bitcoin prices could still soar above $10,000.
However, in the worst case scenario, if Bitcoin falls below the 20-day EMA, the digital currency will lose momentum if this support is also broken and can slide to $7,413 USD.
Along with the increase of Bitcoin, the Ethereum (ETH) surged on May 30 and reached the resistance zone of over 300 USD. However, Ethereum could not stay in the league for long and immediately plummeted into a 20-day EMA. ETH is currently trying to hold the price on a 20-day EMA.
