At the end of July 2025, leaders of Gia Lai province met and had dialogues with associations and businesses to directly listen to, answer recommendations and remove difficulties, and promote production and business activities in the province.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Gia Lai province, in the first 6 months of 2025, the province's GRDP is estimated to reach 7.49%. Key industries such as industry - construction, services, agriculture - forestry - fishery all maintained a good increase; export turnover reached 1.668 billion USD.

Currently, the whole province has more than 17,500 enterprises and 66,000 business households, contributing more than 80% of GRDP, nearly 23% of budget revenue and employing 94% of the province's labor force.
In the first 6 months of the year, the whole province had 795 newly established enterprises. As of July 18, the number of newly established enterprises had increased to more than 1,500, with a total registered capital of VND 12,800 billion.
However, small and micro enterprises still account for a large proportion. Many businesses face difficulties in capital, premises, administrative procedures, etc.
At the dialogue, many businesses frankly raised their difficulties and problems.
At the same time, it proposed that the province simplify administrative procedures in borrowing capital; have a policy to exempt VAT for exported green coffee beans; have a policy to support production facilities; give preferential land lease to expand the scale of operations; allow the conversion of land use purposes for production - business; remove obstacles related to wind power projects...
In response to the recommendations, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan assigned the Department of Finance to coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant parties to fully synthesize opinions and report to the Provincial People's Committee before August 10.
For issues under the authority of central ministries and branches, the Department of Finance coordinates with competent agencies to urgently provide specific advice and report to the Provincial People's Committee.
For issues under the authority of the province, competent authorities must study, propose solutions and proactively send response documents to associations and enterprises
In particular, it is necessary to publicize and make transparent plans and projects, creating conditions for investors to access and participate in accordance with regulations.
The Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the province is oriented to develop according to a green, sustainable growth model, taking enterprises as the center, considering enterprises as customer partners that the government serves.
"The provincial government always accompanies businesses, implementing publicity, transparency, and fairness in solving problems. Every enterprise - regardless of large or small scale - must be treated fairly and transparently," Mr. Pham Anh Tuan affirmed.
