Domestic pepper prices: Red trading floor
As of 11:30 today (September 14), the domestic pepper market has decreased, an average decrease of 1,000 VND/kg. Currently, the price of pepper is recorded at 138,000 - 140,000 VND/kg.
Pepper prices in Gia Lai, Dong Nai provinces and Ho Chi Minh City all decreased by VND 1,000/kg, anchored at VND 138,000/kg.
Listing the price at 139,000 VND/kg is Lam Dong province, the same direction decreased the price by 1,000 VND/kg.
Notably, Dak Lak is still the province with the largest pepper purchasing price in the country at 140,000 VND/kg.
World pepper prices: Unstable in the first session of the week
In the world market, pepper prices remain unchanged in all regions. The Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets is no exception. Currently, these two items are traded between 7,393 - 10,177 USD/ton (equivalent to 194,436 VND/kg - 267,656 VND/kg).
The Brazilian exchange is flat, this region is currently at 6,225 USD/ton (about 163,718 VND/kg). Meanwhile, Malaysia's black and white pepper remained at 11,750 USD/ton and 8,900 USD/ton.
In Vietnam, the export price of black pepper of 500 g/l and 550 g/l is stable, currently anchored at 6,440 - 6,570 USD/ton. ASTA white pepper prices reached 9,150 USD/ton (equivalent to 240,645 VND/kg).
