At the gold shop on Cau Giay Street, Hanoi, the scene of queuing is no longer outside the waiting hall, people sit in turn in the shop waiting for their turn to trade.
Informing reporters, the store employee said that this morning, each person was able to buy a maximum of 5 taels of gold rings, not separately but pre-cast in 1 product. After 5 days of trading, people will be able to buy again, on November 26.
Although there is no longer a scene of queuing outside the store, according to the reporter's observation, the 2 floors have many rows of waiting.
Ms. Vu Thi Tham (Cau Dien, Hanoi) came to the store at the time of the transaction so she was seated waiting on the 2nd floor - said: "Today the gold price has decreased, so I went to buy more. I bought it to store, I have money there, so now I am buying gold. In the area where I live, private gold shops sell at a difference of up to 3 million VND/tael, I dare not buy".
Coming to the store early, Ms. Bui Thu Vien (My Dinh, Hanoi) still had to go up to the 2nd floor to wait in line: "Normally the store opens an additional transaction area on the 2nd floor and now I can't see it, so the number of people has to move down to the 1st floor, waiting quite a long time. I plan to buy a maximum of 5 taels of gold rings".
For many elderly people like Ms. Dinh Thi Tuoi (Cau Giay, Hanoi), although they wanted to buy more than 1 tael of plain round gold ring, they were unable to successfully transfer money, so they had to regretfully go home.
"The store has announced that according to State regulations, when paying for buying and selling gold from 20 million VND or more per day, it must be done through a payment account, I learned today. We, the elderly, almost never make transfers, so until now we only carry cash" - Ms. Tuoi shared.

Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of SJC gold bars at 148.3-151.3 million VND/tael (buy - sell), unchanged from the closing price of the previous trading session.
At the same time of the survey, SJC listed the price of plain round gold rings at 145.9-148.4 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out), down 600,000 VND/tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 148.3-151.3 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out).
On the world market, as of 11:30 a.m. on November 20 (Vietnam time), the world gold price was on a downward trend, listed around 4,075.2 USD/ounce, down 1.8 USD.
