On the afternoon of November 20, the leader of Ninh Gia commune (Lam Dong) said that the floodwaters on Dai Ninh river rose high and flowed rapidly at noon the same day, sweeping away the Thien Chi suspension bridge.
The bridge is more than 60m long, spanning the Dai Ninh River. The suspension bridge connects Ninh Thien and Thien Chi villages, serving the travel and transportation of goods and agricultural products for hundreds of households. When the flood came, people could only stand helplessly and watch the bridge being swept away.

Ninh Thien and Thien Chi villages are located in the lower reaches of the Dai Ninh river. From the evening of November 19 until now, Dai Ninh Hydropower Plant has continuously released floodwaters.
At 10:30 a.m. on November 20, the water flow into the lake reached 2,105 m3/s, forcing the operator to increase the overflow flow from 2,070 m3/s to 2,100 m3/s.

The bridge was washed away, causing dozens of households in the two villages to be isolated. Local authorities are implementing rescue plans to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
