Bao Tin Minh Chau store today announced that it will sell each customer only 1 tael of gold, each person takes a ticket and lines up to wait their turn.
The store only sells small quantities and has no announcement of the next opening date, causing many people to spend time lining up every day to wait to buy.
Having not been able to buy any gold for the past two days, Ms. Nguyen Mai Lan (Cau Giay District, Hanoi) shared: "Luckily today, I just arrived and saw Bao Tin Minh Chau announcing the sale of 1 gold tael per person. I bought it in bulk so I bought whatever tael I could."
Ms. Tran Ly (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi) said that she withdrew all her savings to buy gold but had not been able to buy it for many days. Luckily, today the store opened for "drop by drop" sales and she was able to buy 1 tael to stock up.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, an employee at a gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong street said that today, the shop only has gold to sell. Two days ago, customers came and left empty-handed. It was not until 3 p.m. that the shop opened for sale of gold while customers had been waiting since morning.
According to Lao Dong newspaper, in contrast to the big gold brands, some small gold shops on Tran Nhan Tong street are deserted.

As of 2:00 p.m. today, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold rings at DOJI is listed at 88-89 million VND/tael (buy - sell); an increase of 50,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to the previous trading session.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 87.88-88.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell); increased 400,000 VND/tael for buying and kept the same for selling compared to the previous trading session.
The price of SJC gold bars is listed by DOJI Group at 87-89 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Compared to the close of the previous trading session, gold prices at DOJI remained unchanged in both buying and selling directions.
The difference between buying and selling prices of SJC gold at DOJI Group is at 2 million VND/tael.
