World oil price today
World oil prices continue to decrease today. At 10:08, WTI crude oil was at 63.78 USD/barrel, down 0.23 USD/barrel; equivalent to a decrease of 0.36 USD/barrel. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 84.01 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 63.98 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 67.22 USD/barrel, down 0.26 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.39%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 67.48 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 67.42 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 1, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on August 28.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have increased simultaneously. E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 307 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 271 VND/liter, Diesel increased by 452 VND/liter, Meria increased by 411 VND/liter, Mazut oil increased by 144 VND/kg.
This management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for the above-mentioned petroleum products.

The discount levels of gasoline products today, August 31 at some domestic gasoline trading enterprises are as follows:

Tu Luc Petroleum: Discount on Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,450 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,300; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,350 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,350 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: VND 1,200/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: VND 1,100/liter; Diesel 0.05S: VND 1,450. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.
Of which, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 190 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 120 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 110 VND/liter.
