World oil price today
World oil prices are in a sharp decline. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 18), both oil products, WTI and Brent, were at 0.8%. By this morning's session, world oil prices continued to decline.
At 10:23 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil price was at 63.47 USD/barrel, down 0.10 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.16%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 63.57 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 63.61 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 67.36 USD/barrel, down 0.08 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.12%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 67.44 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 67.50 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 19, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on September 18.
Accordingly, gasoline prices increased by more than 200 VND/liter; oil prices increased by 40-176 VND/liter. Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by VND208/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by VND208/liter, diesel increased by VND62/liter, kerosene increased by VND176/liter and mazut increased by VND40/kg.

Hoang Trong General Trading Company Limited: Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,350 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,300 VND/liter; Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,200 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,150; Nghi Son warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,400 VND/liter, RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,400 VND/liter.
Tu Luc Petroleum: Diesel discount 0.05S-II: 1,300 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,150; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,150 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,150 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: 1,250 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,100 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S: 1,400. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may have opposite adjustments in the direction of slightly decreasing gasoline prices and increasing oil prices.
