World oil price today
World oil prices today turned down simultaneously. At 10:37 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 73.67 USD/barrel, down 0.21 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.28%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 73.88 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 73.19 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 76.90 USD/barrel, down 1.95 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.47%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 78.85 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 77.42 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices today reversed and decreased after the previous strong increase. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 19), Brent oil price increased by 1.9%; WTI oil price increased by 2.3%.
According to analysts, world oil prices fluctuated strongly due to the continued escalation of the week-long airstrike between Israel and Iran, along with concerns about the possibility of US intervention.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On June 20, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade jointly announced in the price management session on the afternoon of June 19, 2025. Accordingly, domestic gasoline prices increased simultaneously.
E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by VND 1,170/liter; RON 95 gasoline increased by VND 1,280/liter; diesel increased by VND 1,450/liter; kerosene increased by VND 1,410/liter; mazut increased by VND 1,180/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the upcoming price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may continue to increase sharply.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 700-900 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 600-800 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 1,400-1,600 VND/liter.
