World oil price today
At the end of a trading week, WTI crude oil was at 62.69 USD/barrel last weekend, down to 62.68 USD/barrel this weekend, almost unchanged from the closing price of last weekend's session.
Brent oil was at 66.99 USD/barrel last weekend, down to 66.68 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, Brent oil decreased slightly by 0.31 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.46% compared to last week.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 21, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on September 18.
Accordingly, gasoline prices increased by more than 200 VND/liter; oil prices increased by 40-176 VND/liter. Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by VND208/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by VND208/liter, diesel increased by VND62/liter, kerosene increased by VND176/liter and mazut increased by VND40/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may have opposite adjustments in the direction of slightly decreasing gasoline prices and increasing oil prices.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 90 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 10 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 70 VND/liter.
