World oil price today
World oil prices today decreased simultaneously. At 11:24, WTI crude oil was at 69.03 USD/barrel, down 0.33 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.48%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 69.36 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 69.54 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 72.47 USD/barrel, down 0.29 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.40%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 72.76 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 72.92 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices have decreased significantly in the first trading session of the week. This week, tariffs are expected to continue to be a factor that strongly affects the oil market. On April 2, US President Donald Trump will announce his tariff policy, clarifying the countries and sectors that the US administration is targeting in an effort to reduce the global trade deficit of goods worth 1,200 billion USD.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On March 31, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of March 27, 2025. Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by 337 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline increased by 337 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 406 VND/liter, diesel increased by 324 VND/liter. Only mazut oil decreased by 53 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, gasoline prices may increase.
Of which, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 330 VND/liter; E5 gasoline increases by about 240 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 170 VND/liter.
