World oil price today
World oil prices are on the decline. At the end of yesterday's trading session (November 4), WTI and Brent oil prices decreased by 0.8% and 0.7%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products continued to decline. At 11:16, WTI crude oil prices were at 60.49 USD/barrel, down 0.07 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.12%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 60.56 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 60.40 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 64.41 USD/barrel, down 0.03 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.05%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 64.44 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 64.32 USD/barrel.
According to analysts, oil prices are under pressure due to the strong increase of the USD. The US stock market also fell sharply in the first session of the week, as the risk of government shutdowns began to negatively affect domestic fuel consumption demand.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On November 5, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
E5RON92 gasoline price increased by VND 710/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by VND 762/liter, diesel increased by VND 1,318/liter, kerosene increased by VND 1,156/liter and mazut increased by VND 541/kg.

Tu Luc Petroleum: Diesel discount 0.05S-II: 1,550 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,200 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,250 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,250 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: 1,100 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,000 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S: 1,600 VND/liter. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may have a slight adjustment.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 50 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 50 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 60 VND/liter.
