World oil price today
World oil prices today decreased simultaneously. At 11:07, WTI crude oil was at 63.81 USD/barrel, down 0.07 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.11%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 63.88 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 63.80 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 66.40 USD/barrel, down 0.05 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.05%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.43 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 66.33 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices are experiencing consecutive price declines. At the end of yesterday's trading session (8.), WTI oil and Brent oil decreased by 0.7% and 0.6%, respectively. This is the 6th consecutive price reduction of both oil products, causing oil prices to drop sharply.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On August 8, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on August 7.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 207 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 234 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 268 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 54 VND/liter, mazut increased by 114 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease simultaneously.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 400-550 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 400-500 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 650-800 VND/liter.
