World oil price today
World oil prices today increased simultaneously. At 12:39, WTI crude oil was at 64.76 USD/barrel, up 0.41 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.64%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 64.35 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 64.40 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 67.26 USD/barrel, up 0.37 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.55%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.89 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 66.78 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices today reversed to increase, after a sharp decrease in the previous session. At the end of yesterday's trading session (8.), WTI oil and Brent oil decreased by 1.2% and 1.1%, respectively.
This is the 5th consecutive price decrease of both oil products, causing Brent oil prices to reach their lowest level since June 10 and WTI oil prices to reach their lowest level since June 5.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On August 7, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on July 31.
Accordingly, E5 RON92 gasoline price increased by 122 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by 131 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreased by 61 VND/liter; Meria oil increased by 86 VND/liter; Mazut oil increased by 154 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the price adjustment period this afternoon, retail prices of gasoline may be simultaneous with gasoline, while oil prices will decrease.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 230 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 210 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 260 VND/liter.
