According to the announcement of the Ministry of Home Affairs, on the occasion of National Day on September 2, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers will have a 4-day holiday, from August 30 (Saturday) to September 2 (Tuesday). Including two weekly days off and two holidays.
Agencies and units that do not implement a fixed schedule for Saturdays and Sundays every week shall base on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a holiday schedule in accordance with and in accordance with the provisions of law.
For employees who are not members of the group of cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, employers decide to choose a holiday plan suitable to the actual situation.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the holiday schedule for holidays and Tet holidays during the year is regulated by the State. Therefore, students at all levels also have a 4-day September holiday. In case the school organizes classes on Saturdays (undergraduate, high school), it will proactively adjust the holiday schedule based on the situation and specific conditions of each unit and educational institution.
At the university level, some schools have specifically announced the National Day holiday schedule on September 2.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, civil servants, employees, and students will have 2 days off for the National Day holiday, from Monday, September 1 to Tuesday, September 2. Thus, if including Saturdays and Sundays of the previous week, the number of days off can be up to 4 days.
This is also the schedule of the University of Natural Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.
The schools said that the training department will arrange a schedule to make up for the days off so as not to affect the overall learning progress of the school.
