Faced with the severe developments of floods causing serious damage in the Central provinces, especially in Hue City and Da Nang City, Grab Vietnam is actively coordinating with local authorities and implementing many practical activities to support affected communities to overcome difficulties.
In the immediate future, Grab will join hands with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City in activities to support necessities, including food and medical supplies, for people in the most severely affected areas in both cities.
In parallel with community support activities, Grab Vietnam will also implement support programs for driver partners, merchant partners and users in Da Nang City and Hue City. Specifically:
● Grab driver partners will be supported with costs to repair damaged operating vehicles and will be given new uniforms to quickly return to operation. Grab will also design appropriate reward programs to help partners overcome difficulties and have the opportunity to stabilize their income.
● Grab traders who need to replace damaged equipment at restaurants and stores will be given access to shopping programs with preferential prices and reasonable payment methods, helping them promptly restore business operations.
● 10,000 discounts on meals and 10,000 triples (maximum discount of 20,000 VND/order, triples) for local users.
