On January 13, Hai Phong City Tax Department organized a conference to deploy tasks for 2026 and sign a Regulation on coordination in tax management between the Tax Department and the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones.
Attending the conference were Mr. Dao Trong Duc, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Mr. Tran Van Quan, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.
At the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong, Head of Hai Phong City Tax Department, said: To strive to complete the task of state budget revenue collection in the context of implementing the 2-level local government model, many new tax policies, the Law on Tax Administration and tax laws have been promulgated and put into practice. Along with that, Hai Phong City continues to strongly develop economic zones, industrial parks, industrial clusters, along with seaport, logistics, services, commerce, tourism..., leading to a rapid increase in production and business activities at the grassroots level, requiring closer, clearer responsibility and more effective coordination between the Tax authority and the grassroots government right from the beginning of the year and directly in each locality.
According to Mr. Truong, the Conference to deploy tasks for 2026 and sign the Regulation on coordination in tax management between the Tax Department and the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones of Hai Phong City aims to create a spirit of drastic campaigning right from the early days of the year; clearly assigning people, clearly assigning tasks, clearly assigning responsibilities, clearly defining time, clearly defining authority, clearly defining results; deploying state budget revenue tasks based on 6 key tasks, 9 groups of solutions and 2 breakthroughs set out in tax management...
At the Conference, the City Tax Department organized the signing of a Regulation on coordination in tax management between the Tax Department and the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones, thereby strengthening coordination responsibilities and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of tax management in the area.
Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Van Quan acknowledged and praised the efforts and achievements of Hai Phong City Tax, Departments, branches and especially the authorities of communes, wards, and special zones in the past time. The Vice Chairman emphasized that the signing of the Regulation on coordination in tax management between the Tax Agency and the People's Committees of 114 communes, wards, and special zones is extremely important, as a basis to clearly define the responsibilities and roles of each level and sector, especially the role of the grassroots government in tax management; strengthen information and data sharing, close coordination in managing taxpayers, managing revenue sources, and combating budget revenue loss; promote the role of the communes, wards, and special zones in firmly grasping the area, sticking to the grassroots level, and promptly detecting and preventing acts of tax law violations.
