Bac Ninh People's Committee has just decided to approve the task of adjusting the construction planning of Luong Tai district to 2035, with a vision to 2050.
Accordingly, Luong Tai district is planned including the entire administrative boundary of Luong Tai district with 12 affiliated administrative units, limited: The East borders Hai Duong province; The West borders Thuan Thanh town; The North borders Gia Binh district and the South borders Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province.
Natural area of about 105.9 km2; The population forecasted about 143,000 by 2030, by 2035 about 164,450 people, by 2050, about 203,951 people.
The goal of regional development is to promote the potential, strengths and characteristics of the district in the direction of comprehensive development, meeting the new rural standards.
Striving to 2030, Luong Tai district developed into a dynamic and sustainable economic region, developing industrial production types, attracting investment and developing industrial parks.
Along with that, the construction of Luong Tai district is the focus of economic region in the southern region of the province, is the Center for High -tech Industry Development, Trade, Tourism and Knowledge Economy, Technology Agriculture high and urban development.
At the same time, it is a traffic unit, an important exchange (adjacent to Gia Binh airport) associated with the economic key of the whole country; There is an important position in national defense and security.
Up to now, Bac Ninh province has 14 industrial parks in operation in the districts of Yen Phong, Tien Du, Gia Binh, towns: Thuan Thanh, Que Vo, Bac Ninh and Tu Son cities.
Luong Tai district is the only locality in Bac Ninh without industrial parks.
According to PV Lao Dong, currently, Viglacera Corporation, Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation and subsidiary are implementing the investment procedures for 3 industrial park projects in Luong Tai district.
