On September 9, Vietnam Industry and Technology Week 2026 (VITW 2026) officially opened, gathering more than 2,000 booths from leading domestic and international businesses. With the theme "Technology Leads - Industry Transformation - Breakthrough to Go Further", VITW 2026 connects technology exhibitions and demonstrations with specialized conferences and trade, thereby updating trends that are shaping the global industry.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Duc Hai - Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade assessed that in 2026, the Capital's industry is facing many favorable opportunities to accelerate development, contributing to completing the city's double-digit economic growth target.
The total scale of the event is over 2,000 booths, in which Hanoi MIP Fair, in addition to business booths, also has an exhibition area for high-tech industrial products, science and technology products such as: Robots, unmanned aerial vehicles, artificial intelligence application products... of research institutes and universities, all of which will create a trade space connecting businesses and promoting industrial development, the largest ever organized in Vietnam and the region.
The exhibition displays key industrial products, high-tech industries, high-quality supporting industries with advanced technology, modern design and innovative solutions, highlighting the strength and transformation of Vietnam's industry in general and the Capital's industry in particular.
The Hanoi Industrial Product Exhibition Fair 2026 (Hanoi MIP Fair 2026) is one of the practical activities of the Hanoi Industry and Trade sector to concretize the guidelines and policies issued by the Party, State and Hanoi City on industrial development," Mr. Hai said.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Khong Minh - Deputy Director of Phenikaa-X JSC - hopes that through the exhibition, Vietnam's robot production capacity, including Phenikaa-X, will be known to many domestic and international businesses.
During the exhibition at VEC, many international visitors came to visit and expressed surprise at the robot products researched, developed and produced by Vietnamese businesses," Mr. Khong Minh said.

Vietnam Week of Industry and Technology 2026 (VITW 2026) is expected to attract about 70,000 visitors and foreign buyers, of which over 500 foreign buyers from the EU, Japan, Korea, India, China... have registered to attend the event with the Organizing Committee.
This will be a very good opportunity for businesses to trade, connect with domestic and foreign partners, and at the same time promote and introduce products, find customers, promote exports, towards sustainable development of Vietnam's industry in the process of international economic integration.
Within the framework of the fair, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade and units will organize a series of side events including: B2B connection conferences, forums, conferences, and seminars on high-tech industrial development and innovation.
