This is a complex storm with a wide range of impacts, which can cause great damage to people and property if not proactively responded.
To promptly prevent, combat and minimize damage caused by storms, the Customs Department requires heads of units to urgently deploy a number of tasks.
First, closely monitor the developments of the storm; regularly update forecasts and warnings from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch (if any) and the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control. Third, immediately deploy measures to ensure the safety of offices, warehouses, ships and other works; have plans to ensure the safety of machinery, equipment, working means and goods; require units to prepare and send ships to evacuate to ensure safety.
Fourth, comply with the instructions of the Provincial People's Committee and the local Civil Defense Command; instruct cadres, civil servants and public employees of the unit to prepare to ensure coping with rain, storms and floods caused by key areas at risk of long-term isolation.
