According to Khanh Hoa Provincial Statistics, the socio-economic situation of the province in the first 2 months of 2026, the provincial industrial production index increased by 10.43% compared to the same period last year.
Many industrial products increased sharply compared to the same period, such as bird's nest drink and other nutritious drinks increased by 10.6%; electricity production increased by 10.9%; commercial electricity increased by 19.28%; RE sugar increased by 26.13%; fresh concrete increased by 27.91%; aloe vera increased by 32.94%; natural fibers increased by 36.5%; RS sugar increased by 38.6%.
Notably, the output of bottled beer increased 2.42 times and construction stone increased 3.24 times compared to the same period last year.
In the opposite direction, some products decreased such as sea salt decreased by 5.21%; frozen tuna decreased by 14.444%; frozen fish of other types decreased by 15.43%.
Providing information on the province's growth indicators, leaders of the Khanh Hoa Department of Finance said that from February 1st to February 26th, the whole province had 151 newly established businesses, down 13.22% compared to the same period last year, but total registered capital reached 2,193.7 billion VND, 4.57 times higher.
During the same period, 35 businesses returned to operation; 72 businesses registered to temporarily suspend operations and 52 businesses dissolved, an increase of 26.83%.
Statistics for the first 2 months of the year show that the whole province has 525 newly established enterprises with a total registered capital of 4,533 billion VND, an increase of 58.61% in the number of enterprises and 3.66 times in registered capital compared to the same period last year.
Average registered capital reached about 8.6 billion VND/enterprise. In February 2026, Khanh Hoa province continued to promote disbursement of public investment capital, focusing on implementing key projects and large-scale infrastructure.
However, due to coinciding with the long Lunar New Year holiday and many projects waiting for capital allocation, the construction volume is not high.
Development investment capital from the State budget managed by localities in February 2026 is estimated at 630.5 billion VND, down 11.09% compared to the previous month but up 26.17% compared to the same period in 2025.
Of which, provincial budget capital reached 581 billion VND, commune budget capital reached 49.5 billion VND.
In general, in the first 2 months of 2026, total development investment capital from the State budget managed by localities reached 1,339.6 billion VND, equal to 8.74% of the annual plan and an increase of 41.74% compared to the same period last year.
Many important infrastructure projects are being implemented such as the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway (phase 1), the Van Luong - Ninh Hoa coastal road and resettlement area projects, residential area infrastructure in the province.
