Bui Thi Thu Ha: Progressing year by year and achieving new achievements

For many bankers, the pressure of targets, strict procedures and the cycle of work repeating every day is familiar. Ms. Bui Thi Thu Ha was also like that.

In the position of a transaction officer, she was once in the top 19 excellent transaction officers of the entire system. The job is stable and the environment is professional, but the insurance industry brings her a different space - where personal efforts can be transformed into clearer results, and each customer is a separate financial journey that needs long-term companionship. The increase in the need for protection and financial planning in society also shows that this is a field with great development potential.

After nearly 12 years at Manulife, she has recorded many achievements and titles. But what she mentions most is not achievement, but the feeling of continuous development through each stage.

There are times when there is a lot of pressure, but in return, I see myself improving year by year and achieving new achievements. That is what I have always been looking for before.

Vu Thi Thanh Huong: A break to jump further

After many years of staying at home to take care of her children, Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Huong once thought that returning to the labor market would not be easy.

The time working in the bank helped her get used to the pressure and high intensity of work, but the break brought a different perspective: to better understand the very real concerns of families, from spending, education to financial risks in life.

When I became a person directly managing family finances, I understood more clearly what customers really care about," she shared.

That experience made her see the insurance industry not simply as a new job, but as a place where she can connect the financial platform from the bank with a realistic understanding of the protection and accumulation needs of customers.

More than 5 years working in banking is the foundation that helps her quickly adapt to the insurance industry, from financial thinking, the ability to build trust to discipline in pursuing long-term goals.

If banks bring professional knowledge and style, then insurance gives you the opportunity to apply those things in a more flexible way, closer to customers and with more room for development.

After 9 years at Manulife, she has repeatedly achieved the MDRT title, leading the national recruitment and management development rate in 2018 and being the first representative of Manulife Vietnam to share at the GAMA Asia Conference held in Hong Kong (China).

For Ms. Huong, this is not a comeback, but a new step forward - where what has been accumulated continues to become an advantage to go further.

Nguyen Thi Van: Turning meticulousness into a leading advantage

In the bank, there are departments that directly work with customers, and there are also operational departments behind the entire system. Ms. Nguyen Thi Van belongs to the second group.

Many years working in the operations department at an international bank helped her form meticulousness, discipline and systematic thinking. But from then on, she began to want to see her value more clearly through customer experience.

When switching to insurance, she takes advantage of these strengths to build trust with customers - a core factor in the long-term financial sector.

I am not too prominent or eloquent. But I believe that persistence, depth, and meticulousness always have their own value," she shared.
