On the morning of June 12, representatives of the Khanh Hoa Department of Industry and Trade attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the High-class Moina integrated farming and freshwater eel combined with community development project in the Tu Bong - Du Phong area.
The project is invested by DT Biotion Cooperative, with a total area of 23ha, of which phase 1 is implemented on 6ha.
According to the plan, the project focuses on producing and commercializing high-end Moina; developing a freshwater eel farming model associated with local culinary culture; developing OCOP products; building a community development model with the participation of people; and forming a tourism, festival and experience complex.

Representatives of the investor said that the project not only aims at aquaculture but also builds a chain of links from production, processing to experience, festivals and local tourism.
Tu Bong area is assessed to have many advantages to deploy the model thanks to the natural lake system, lakeside landscape, mountainous ecological environment, large land fund and potential for experiential tourism development.
At the same time, local people have favorable conditions to participate in economic models associated with the project.
According to the investor, DT Biotion and DT Group expect to build this place into a typical aquaculture area of Khanh Hoa.
Thereby, contributing to promoting local economic development, forming a tourist - festival destination of the region, and at the same time being an environmentally friendly aquaculture model.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade, local authorities and the investor presented 500 gifts to students in 5 communes Tu Bong, Van Ninh, Dai Lanh, Van Hung and Van Thang, with a total value of more than 250 million VND.
