The goal of the project is to build a synchronous infrastructure system, a multi-industry supporting industrial park, with advanced production technology and environmentally friendly.
The Chairman of the Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the project does not attract textile, dyeing, leather and footwear industries and toy production projects that use a lot of labor and cause environmental pollution. In addition, priority is given to attracting industries that follow the province's industrial development orientation such as: electronics, automobile assembly and manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and industrial products supporting high-tech industries.
The project strives to start construction in June 2025. The project's location is convenient for traffic connection, belonging to the extended North-South expressway corridor. When completed, it will be the driving force for the development of the industrial zone of Y Yen district, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Nam Dinh province in general in the coming period.
