On August 4, reporting on the socio-economic development situation of the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau area, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance informed that in the first 6 months of the year, the total budget revenue in the area reached VND 47,116 billion, reaching 45. 90% of the adjusted estimate.
Of which, the budget revenue from the auction of public land and houses and land of provincial administrative agencies is VND 7,817 billion, reaching 59.12% of the plan.
In 6 months, the sector has disbursed VND 8,797 billion in public investment capital, reaching 29.66% of the allocated capital (more than VND 29,663 billion). This year, the locality has allocated capital to start 11 new projects, currently 4 projects have started construction, 3 projects are being bid and 4 projects are completing investment procedures to conduct bidding and start construction....
According to the Department of Finance, major projects and key projects in the area in the past such as: Project "Developing Ba Ria - Vung Tau province into a National marine economic center"; Project "Research on free trade zone associated with seaports in Cai Mep Ha area" ... and 18 key projects in the area, after the merger, are still being implemented.
"Currently, some projects are being completed by competent authorities to be submitted to competent authorities for consideration and approval according to regulations," said a representative of the Department of Finance.
