On March 13, Ninh Binh Provincial Police said that through patrol and control work, at about 8:15 am on March 12, at Km275 in Yen Thang ward, Ninh Binh province, the Task Force of Tam Diep Traffic Police Station under the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police proceeded to stop and inspect the truck with license plate 15C-297. xx. The vehicle was driven by Mr. Dinh Ngoc Phu (born in 1974, residing in Yen Thang ward, Ninh Binh province).
During the inspection, the Task Force discovered on the truck bed 5 styrofoam boxes containing 155kg of animal organs (pork organs), worth about 5,000,000,000 million VND.
Notably, Mr. Dinh Ngoc Phu could not present documents proving his origin.
Currently, the Task Force has made a record of the incident and handed it over to Market Management Team No. 2 of Ninh Binh Provincial Market Management Department for handling according to the provisions of law.
