Ca Mau kicks off another wind power project worth nearly 2,500 billion VND
On June 20, Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Japan - Bac Lieu Energy Joint Stock Company to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Japan - Bac Lieu Wind Power Plant Project in Dong Hai commune. The project has a capacity of 50 MW, a total investment of nearly 2,500 billion VND, expected to be completed before December 31, 2027, contributing to supplementing clean electricity sources, ensuring energy security and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Leaders of Ca Mau province said that the locality has many advantages in developing renewable energy thanks to its long coastline, favorable wind conditions and large development space after the merger.
