Lao Cai ensures supply, deploys E10 bio-gasoline on schedule
After nearly two months of implementing the roadmap for trading E10 bio-gasoline, 100% of retail gasoline and oil stores in Lao Cai have traded E5 and E10 RON92 gasoline according to regulations. The whole province currently has 217/224 stores operating, the distribution system is basically stable, meeting the needs of the people.
From June 1 - July 31, 2026, market management forces will strengthen inspections but have not detected speculation, hoarding, unreasonable price increases or illegal sales suspension. However, the consumption output of E10 gasoline is still lower than RON95 due to consumer habits, while supply fluctuations and low discounts cause local shortages at some times.
Lao Cai Department of Industry and Trade said that it will continue to monitor the market, request businesses to ensure supply, control gasoline and oil quality and promote propaganda about the benefits of E10 gasoline. Hung Yen handles stores selling sausages and instant food of unknown origin
A Sao Commune Police (Hung Yen) coordinated with the market management force to inspect business establishments and discovered a grocery store selling 80 items of ready-to-eat food of unknown origin, without stamps or Vietnamese sub-labels as prescribed.
Functional forces have made a record of administrative violations, requesting the destruction of all violating goods. In the coming time, A Sao Commune Police will continue to strengthen inspection and strictly handle acts of trading in counterfeit goods, smuggled goods, and goods of unknown origin to protect consumer rights and maintain order in the area. Ministry of Finance gives reasons for amending regulations on administrative sanctions in the field of insurance business
The Ministry of Finance is seeking opinions on the draft Decree amending and supplementing Decree 174/2024/ND-CP on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of insurance business. According to the Ministry, the amendment is necessary to improve the legal framework, ensure synchronization with new legal regulations and meet practical management requirements.
In 2025, Vietnam's insurance market has 86 businesses, with total assets estimated at 1,113 million billion VND, an increase of 8.58% compared to the previous year. Total insurance premium revenue reached about 237.111 billion VND, insurance benefits paid about 91.845 billion VND, while reinvestment in the economy reached nearly 959. 000 billion VND, showing that the market continues to maintain its large scale and stable growth.
The Ministry of Finance said that the amendment of the Decree aims to ensure that only penalties are imposed for acts that have been prescribed by law, and at the same time agree with relevant draft documents being developed.
