Hanoi Police discover more than 5,400 products showing signs of counterfeiting famous brands
Thuong Cat Ward Police (Hanoi) coordinated with the market management force to inspect a business household on Bo Tay Song Nhue street and discovered more than 5,400 products showing signs of counterfeiting famous brands such as Nike, Adidas and Puma.

Functional forces seized 5,200 pairs of Puma brand children's socks, 100 pairs of Adidas socks and 130 Nike women's t-shirts. The business owner could not present invoices and documents proving the legal origin of the shipment.
All exhibits have been sealed and temporarily seized to investigate the origin and supply line. According to regulations, business households may be fined about 18 million VND and forced to destroy all violating goods. See more...
Criticizing 10 commune and ward chairmen in Lam Dong for not disbursing public investment capital in 2026
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requests to promote disbursement of public investment capital in 2026, and at the same time severely criticizes 10 chairmen of commune and ward People's Committees who have large capital plans but have not disbursed until mid-May 2026. Among them, Phu Thuy ward is assigned the highest capital with more than 19.5 billion VND but has not been disbursed.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also criticized 5 project management board directors with the lowest disbursement rate in the province, including a unit that has not disbursed a single dong. The units were requested to urgently review their responsibilities, clarify the reasons for slow disbursement and develop remedial solutions.

Quang Ninh approves investor for offshore wind power project
Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee has approved the investment policy and investor to implement the Quang Ninh 4 Wind Power Plant Project in Co To Special Zone. The project is invested by a consortium of Cuong Thinh Thi Construction Investment Group Joint Stock Company and Thien Phu Construction and Trading Investment Co., Ltd., through Co To Wind Power Joint Stock Company.

Quang Ninh 4 wind power plant has a capacity of 50MW, with a total investment of more than 2,364 billion VND, using nearly 12ha of land and water surface. The project includes a wind turbine system, transformer station, 110kV power line and auxiliary items, expected to be completed and put into operation 30 months after land and water surface are allocated.
This is Quang Ninh's first offshore wind power project, expected to supplement clean electricity sources for the North, contributing to ensuring energy security and fulfilling commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Previously, the province also started the Quang Ninh 1 Wind Power project with a capacity of 200MW with a total investment of 7, 290 billion VND. See more...
