On March 31, the People's Committee of Kon Tum province directed agencies and units to improve the investment environment by eliminating unnecessary administrative procedures. The goal of this is to reduce inconvenience and save costs for businesses and people.
It is expected that by 2025, the time for handling administrative procedures in Kon Tum will decrease by at least 30%. In addition, Kon Tum province also aims to cut at least 30% of business expenses and eliminate at least 30% of no longer suitable business conditions.
Kon Tum is committed to ensuring that 100% of administrative procedures are not limited by administrative boundaries within the province.
The Steering Committee for Investment Procedures of Kon Tum province will focus on removing difficulties, supporting businesses to speed up project implementation, avoiding waste and loss of investment resources.
In March 2025, Kon Tum province continued to call for businesses to invest in small and medium hydropower projects, taking advantage of the great potential of the locality.
Some investors, including Dak Lo 1-3 Hydropower Company Limited and Dak Lo 4 Hydropower Company Limited, have requested the government to support in resolving problems related to compensation, site clearance, land allocation, land lease and conversion of forest use purposes.
In order to ensure that the projects are implemented according to plan, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuy - Deputy Secretary of Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee - has directed departments, branches and local authorities to create the most favorable conditions for enterprises to construct.
For the Dak Lo 4 Hydropower Project, contractors set a target of disbursing from 350 - 400 billion VND in 2025.
The above solutions will contribute to improving the investment environment, promoting local economic growth and ensuring the progress of key hydropower projects in the province.
