Vikki Bank interest rates increase - decrease in different directions
The deposit interest rate of Vikki Digital Bank Limited (Vikki Bank - the new name of DongA Bank) has just been adjusted to increase for many terms. 1-2 month term increased sharply by 0.3%/year; 3-5 month term increased by 0.1%/year. After adjustment, the interest rate for 1-5 month term deposits is 4.4%/year. The 6-8 month term increased by 0.05%/year to 5.6%/year; the 12-month term increased by 0.1%/year to 5.9%/year.
In contrast, Vikki Bank adjusted the terms down by 0.1-0.2%/year for 13-36 months to 5.9%/year.
The highest interest rate at Vikki Bank is currently listed at 7.5%/year for customers depositing for a 13-month term, with conditions applied to deposits of VND200 billion or more.
Since the beginning of February, 8 banks have adjusted deposit interest rates. In which, Eximbank, Techcombank and Vikki Bank increased - decreased in opposite directions; Bac A Bank reduced interest rates for all terms, Agribank and TPBank also adjusted to reduce many terms; BIDV and VietABank increased interest rates.
Highest special interest rate 7-9%
The highest interest rate for 12-month terms is up to 7-9%, but to enjoy this interest rate, customers must meet special conditions.
PVcomBank leads with a special interest rate of 9%/year for a term of 12-13 months when depositing money at the counter. The applicable condition is that customers must maintain a minimum balance of VND 2,000 billion.
HDBank applies an interest rate of 8.1%/year for a 13-month term and 7.7%/year for a 12-month term, with the condition of maintaining a minimum balance of VND500 billion. In addition, the 18-month term is subject to a 6% interest rate.
MSB listed an interest rate of 8%/year for a 13-month term and 7%/year for a 12-month term. The condition is that the minimum deposit is 500 billion VND from newly opened or automatically renewed savings books from January 1, 2018.
Vikki Bank applies an interest rate of 7.5%/year for term deposits of 13 months or more, with a minimum amount of VND200 billion.
Banks push interest rates above 6%
Currently, interest rates above 6%/year are being listed by many banks for long-term deposits but do not require a minimum deposit amount.
Eximbank applies an interest rate of 6.2-6.5%/year for long terms from 15-34 months; BVBank applies an interest rate of 6.05%, 12-month term, 6.25% for 15-month term, 6.35% for 18-month term and 6.45% for 24-36 month term;
IVB applies the highest interest rate of 6.45%/year for a term of 5 - 15 years, 6.25%/year for a term of 48 months, 6.15%/year for a term of 36 months and 6.05/year for a term of 12 months; KienLong Bank applies an interest rate of 6.1% for a term of 12-24 months, 6.3% for a term of 36 months and 6.4% for a term of 60 months;
GPBank applies an interest rate of 6.05%/year for a 12-month term and 6.15%/year for terms from 13-36 months. Cake by VPBank applies an interest rate of 6%/year for a term of 12-18 months and 6.3%/year for a term of 24-36 months; OceanBank applies an interest rate of 6.1% for a term of 24 months;
VRB and Vikki Bank apply an interest rate of 6% for a 24-month term; VietABank applies an interest rate of 6% for a 18- and 24-month term at 6%/year, 6.1% for a 36-month term; SaigonBank applies an interest rate of 6% for a 13, 18 and 24-month term, 6.1% for a 36-month term; HDBank applies an interest rate of 6% for a 15-month term and 6.1% for a 18-month term; BAOVIET Bank applies an interest rate of 6% for a 15, 18, 24 and 36-month term; ABBank applies an interest rate of 6% for a 12-month term; CB applies an interest rate of 6% for terms of 12 months or more.
