Bank interest rates today May 21st: Agribank highest in the Big4 group

At BIDV, the interest rate for 1-2 month term deposits is listed at 2.1%/year; 3-5 month term is 2.4%/year; 6-9 month term is 3.5%/year; 12-18 month term is 5.9%/year; 24-36 month term is 6%/year.

Agribank applies an interest rate of 2.6%/year for terms of 1-2 months; 2.9%/year for terms of 3-5 months; 4%/year for terms of 6-11 months; 5.9%/year for terms of 12-18 months and 6%/year for terms of 24 months.

At VietinBank, deposit interest rates for terms of 1-2 months are 2.1%/year; terms from 3 to under 6 months are 2.4%/year; terms from 6 to under 12 months are 3.5%/year; terms from 12 to under 24 months are 5.9%/year; terms of 24-36 months are 6%/year.

Meanwhile, Vietcombank listed interest rates for terms of 1-2 months at 2.1%/year; term of 3 months is 2.4%/year; term of 6-9 months is 3.5%/year; term of 12 months is 5.9%/year; term from 24-36 months is 5.3%/year.

Compared to the general level of the Big4 group, Agribank is currently the bank listing higher interest rates for short and medium-term terms. The interest rate for 1-2 month terms at Agribank reaches 2.6%/year, higher than the 2.1%/year level currently applied by BIDV, VietinBank and Vietcombank. For 3-5 month terms, Agribank lists 2.9%/year, while the remaining three banks maintain around 2.4%/year. Notably, the 6-11 month term at Agribank is up to 4%/year, higher than the 3.5%/year level of BIDV, VietinBank and Vietcombank.
