On September 18, Mr. Phan Duong Cuong - Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Lam Dong province said that each industrial park (IP) in the province is clearly planned for development space, has its own competitive advantages and is appropriately functionally zoned.

On that basis, Lam Dong is implementing a selective investment attraction strategy. The province also prioritizes environmentally friendly projects that can make a large contribution to the budget and create spillover effects, connecting with the global supply chain.
At the Investment Promotion Conference in industrial parks of Lam Dong province in 2026 on September 18, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Investment Registration Certificates to 3 projects.

The projects include: Lam Dong Food Processing Factory in Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park; Animal feed and aquaculture factory in Loc Son Industrial Park; Phan Thiet Rubber Tire Factory in Ham Kiem 1 Industrial Park. The total investment capital of the 3 projects is 630 billion VND.
At the same time, businesses have signed investment cooperation agreements.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai - Standing Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that the province does not aim to attract investment at all costs but prioritizes projects with modern technology, clean technology, efficient use of resources and land, creating high added value and ensuring environmental requirements.

Lam Dong also encourages green production projects, energy saving, emission reduction, application of science and technology and digital transformation.
Attracting new investors is only the first step, more importantly, it is necessary to support the project to be implemented on schedule, operate effectively and continue to expand investment" - Mr. Hai emphasized.
From this requirement, Mr. Hai proposed that the Management Board of Industrial Parks coordinate with departments, branches and localities to build a mechanism to monitor and support businesses from after the project is approved to the construction and operation process.
The progress of each project needs to be specifically monitored. Difficulties and obstacles must be classified, clearly identified the agency in charge of handling and promptly reported to the Provincial People's Committee for contents beyond their authority.
By mid-September 2026, Lam Dong province had 14 industrial parks established. Of which, 9 industrial parks have been put into operation and attracted 248 projects.
The projects have a total capital of about 46,000 billion VND and 530 million USD, with a total area of about 780ha. The occupancy rate of industrial parks currently reaches about 60%.
