On October 27, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Hoang Phu Hien chaired a working session with Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa - Chairman of Pacific Construction Group (China) on investment cooperation, construction, operation of urban infrastructure development planning and the possibility of expanding investment cooperation in other fields.
Vice Chairman Hoang Phu Hien welcomed the working delegation and suggested that the Pacific Construction Group study cooperation to supplement resources for infrastructure development goals according to the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress. Nghe An is implementing strategic transportation projects including Vinh - Thanh Thuy Expressway, high-speed railway section through Nghe An, upgrading Vinh International Airport, upgrading and expanding National Highway 7A, 48A, building Cua Lo Deep Water Port and developing Dong Hoi port cluster.

Introducing the potential of the Southeast Economic Zone of more than 20,000 hectares, which is being expanded to more than 100,000 hectares, along with the development orientation of 6 dynamic urban areas: Vinh, Do Luong, Dien Chau, Hoang Mai, Thai Hoa and Con Cuong, the leaders of Nghe An province hope that investors will prioritize public transport infrastructure, water supply and drainage and urban development projects.
Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa assessed Nghe An as having a favorable location and infrastructure, suitable for the development of new materials and technology. The Group expressed its desire to invest in the project in Nghe An, plans to soon establish a representative office in the province, and committed to transferring technology and engineering to local businesses, towards a long-term and effective cooperative relationship, ensuring progress and optimizing costs.
Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Hoang Phu Hien assigned the Department of Construction to preside over the connection with the Group to agree on specific cooperation contents in the coming time.
