Spending more than a thousand billion to "repaint" Bai Sau in 6 months
After many months of preparation, Vung Tau City has just started the project to renovate Thuy Van Street (Bai Sau area) with a total investment of more than 1,094 billion VND; including 2 main items: upgrading the technical infrastructure of Thuy Van Street; renovating and building Thuy Van Park.
Mr. Hoang Vu Thanh - Chairman of Vung Tau City People's Committee - said that although the site has not been fully handed over yet, with the efforts and determination, the project has now met the conditions to start construction according to regulations.
According to Mr. Thanh, although it is considered the most crowded destination for tourists and the face of Vung Tau City, due to the influence of old constructions, lack of amenities, landscapes, etc., it has not been able to promote the strengths of the clean and beautiful beach, stretching over 3.2 km in the Back Beach area.
Therefore, there needs to be synchronous investment, towards a friendly open space with a sea view, along with functional areas and suitable utilities so that people and tourists can enjoy the natural advantages to the fullest. During the implementation process, the locality has planned to complete the project in April 2025, which is only about 180 days of construction.
