On October 27, 2025, in Hanoi, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation and Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Comprehensive Cooperation, opening a period of strategic cooperation between two major brands in the fields of telecommunications, technology and finance - banking, aiming to create multi-utility, safe and practical digital products - services for customers.
Attending the signing ceremony were Major General Truong Son Lam - Chairman of the Board of Directors of MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation; Colonel To Manh Cuong - General Director of MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation; Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of MSB; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Linh - General Director of MSB and representatives of the Executive Board and leaders of functional units of both sides.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, MobiFone and MSB will jointly exploit the strengths of each side to develop comprehensive products, services and digital solutions, bringing practical value to customers and the community. The two sides aim to build a multi-layered cooperation ecosystem, where modern telecommunications technology is closely connected with smart financial - banking services.
MobiFone will provide MSB with advanced technology and digital infrastructure solutions, from subscribers and preferential packages, broadband connection and backup transmission lines, to solutions such as MobiCA digital signature, QR Sound, MobiScoring, contributing to digitizing business processes and improving customer experience.
In contrast, MSB will provide MobiFone staff and the partner ecosystem with comprehensive financial service packages, consumer credit, cards and electronic banking, along with flexible and competitive incentive policies.
In particular, the two sides will coordinate in researching and developing a multi-service integrated business model, combining customer data from MobiFone with MSB's financial capacity to create personalized credit solutions, meeting diverse customer needs. In addition, MobiFone and MSB also agreed to strengthen technical connectivity, coordinate communication and practical implementation at transaction points, branches and service ecosystems of both sides, aiming at synchronizing and maximizing cooperation benefits.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Truong Son Lam - Chairman of the Board of Members of MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation - emphasized: "Today's signing of the cooperation agreement marks an important milestone in opening a development direction in the formation of an ecosystem between the three fields of telecommunications, infrastructure and finance in Vietnam.
