According to Lao Dong, at the gas station on Pasteur Street, Xuan Hoa Ward, people were able to buy E10 gasoline at a price of VND19490/liter. Because of its novelty, many people are still curious and consider this type of gasoline.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thang (Thu Duc Ward) said: "I see that the fuel pillars have E10 gasoline and are recommended by staff to be more environmentally friendly. I tried to deposit 50,000 VND to see if the machine was running any differently. The initial experience was that there was no problem.

At some other points of sale on Hai Ba Trung, Ly Thuong Kiet, Vo Thi Sau streets... gas stations have prepared pumping stations and started selling E10 gasoline to customers. The staff also carefully advised customers about the characteristics of E10 gasoline.
Some technology car drivers said they are interested in fuel efficiency and engine durability when using this new type of fuel.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - a technology car driver said: "I drive nearly 200 km a day, so I am very interested in fuel. This morning I stopped by to test E10 gasoline because I saw it was cheaper and sounded good for the environment. The vehicle runs smoothly, without any feeling of engine failure or sluggishness".
During the pilot phase, the Ministry of Industry and Trade assigned the Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOil) to sell E10 gasoline at its retail gasoline stores in Hanoi and Hai Phong from August 1. Petrolimex Group sells E10 gasoline at 36 retail gasoline stores of enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City (before the merger).
According to the plan of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the pilot E10 gasoline is a preparation step to gradually replace traditional gasoline with biofuel nationwide.
For E10 gasoline to be truly welcomed, experts say it is necessary to be transparent in product information, closely monitor consumer feedback and have incentive mechanisms for people to boldly change. In addition, car manufacturers also need to confirm the level of engine compatibleity with this fuel.
