According to Lao Dong reporters, despite consecutive storms and bad weather in the last months of the year, the tourism industry in Da Nang still recorded impressive growth.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khai (55 years old, hotel manager on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Da Nang) said that the number of guests booking rooms last month was quite stable, mostly foreign tourist groups going on unseasonal vacations.
"Usually, after the National Day holiday on September 2, Da Nang tourism enters the low season due to bad weather, many storms and a decrease in domestic and foreign visitors. But this year, thanks to many products and promotional programs, many groups of tourists still come to Da Nang to relax regularly" - Mr. Khai said.
A representative of a resort business unit near Hoi An ancient town (Da Nang) - informed Lao Dong on November 11, despite bad weather and a week of flooding, the number of guests booking rooms here is still quite stable.
According to this unit, during the flood at the end of October 2025, only business locations located deep in the old town had to be relocated, while locations near Hoi An ancient town and Bay Mau coconut forest area were still full of foreign visitors because of the attractiveness of the experience and low cost.

Data from the Da Nang Department of Tourism shows that in October 2025, the city welcomed more than 1.3 million overnight guests, an increase of over 25% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors reached about 614,000, an increase of more than 28% over the same period.
Revenue from accommodation and catering services in October 2025 is estimated at more than VND 4,000 billion, up nearly 20% over the same period. According to the assessment, although the storm caused landslides that partly affected visitors, events such as the GBA Beer Festival, Oktoberfest, the International Fair for Investment Trade and Tourism (EWEC) along with the opening of new international routes (to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Shenzhen) contributed to attracting visitors to Da Nang, especially in the MICE tourism and wedding tourism segment.
In particular, travel businesses also recorded positive signals when the number of tour guests reached more than 115,000, travel service revenue is estimated at 318 billion VND, all increased by about 20%.
According to many experts, this is the peak period for international visitors, especially visitors from Korea, Thailand, Japan and Europe. Da Nang City is focusing on exploiting this segment, while increasing promotion and connection in potential markets.
