Accordingly, one of the highlights of sustainable development of this unit is the impressive figures in the journey to promote innovation for sustainable development: 100% of factories are certified according to international standards - Food Safety Certification System (FSSC) 22000 , ISO 22000 and HACCP on Food Safety Management; 100% of important product or service portfolio is evaluated for product compliance and labeling. At the same time, the Sustainable Supply Chain Code is issued and promulgated, establishing clear principles and requirements for responsible purchasing and supply chain practice.
From 2023, Masan established the Group's ESG Committee to manage issues related to sustainable development. The Committee is responsible for promoting the ESG program at the Group level, while closely coordinating with business segments and internal functional departments to deploy and integrate sustainability strategies into business operations, including policies, processes, initiatives, programs, and participation in ESG rating systems as well as certification programs.
Along with that, this business puts a trust in transparency in operations and ensures that customers have full information about the products to make purchasing decisions. To do this, the unit has implemented initiatives from detailed product labeling; QR codes to enhance traceability; to product research and innovation.
For example, Masan MEATLife products have successfully deployed a traceability system for chicken, pork and processed products, allowing customers to scan and access information about the product's journey from production to distribution.

Masan's R&D team constantly updates technology to develop nutritious products through continuous improvement of product formulas. In addition to their extensive experience, a team of Vietnamese experts with the strength of consumer understanding is the secret to Masan Consumer launching products that are popular in the market. Since its establishment in 2023, the Consume Understanding Center has actively connected with the Consumers in Love community As a group of loyal customers who love Masans brands, thereby helping the company seek new ideas and product launch opportunities that suit the constantly changing needs of consumers.
Towards community development and social responsibility
In parallel with innovation promotion activities, Masan always focuses on implementing corporate social responsibility (CSR) through initiatives with strong impacts, focusing on economic development, infrastructure, healthcare and nutrition, education and community support with a total estimated financial contribution of more than 144 billion VND in 2024. These efforts not only contribute to local development but also provide significant financial and material support to communities across Vietnam.
Joining hands to upgrade rural infrastructure, Masan has contributed 100 billion VND to Lao Cai province within the framework of a national initiative to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with the program "Warm home for my compatriots", organized by the Government and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Masan High-Tech Materials has completed 5 key projects, supporting the installation of clean water supply systems for local households, contributing to raising new rural standards and improving the quality of life.
Along with that are bridge construction projects in Bac Lieu, or agricultural irrigation projects in Ly Son, Quang Ngai province implemented by MCH, to ensure local farmers have cheap water sources to serve agricultural production...

Notably, towards health care and nutrition activities, the "One million meals with meat" initiative implemented by CHIN-SU in coordination with the Cao Dong Parking Fund has contributed to providing essential nutrition for children in difficult circumstances, with a budget of 10 billion VND for the period 2024-2025. 35 heart surgeries for children in difficult circumstances in Ho Chi Minh City were also implemented by MCH in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Protection of Poor Patients in the past year.
