The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has just worked with Working Group No. 03 under the Central Steering Committee on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation to review and evaluate national databases and specialized databases. The meeting was co-chaired by Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong and Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security, Head of Working Group No. 03, with the participation of representatives of the Government Office, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance and many technology enterprises.
SBV Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dung said that, implementing Resolution 71/NQ-CP, SBV was assigned to build and synchronize four databases: Data warehouse Data warehouse, Credit Information, Banking Code and SBV Electronic Information Portal Database. Of which, two databases have been completed synchronously to the National Data Center, the remaining two databases are ready for synchronization, expected to be completed in September 2025. In particular, the Credit InformationDL has been connected to the National PopulationDL and is coordinating with the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06) to complete the direct connection.

In addition to specialized data, the SBV is also reviewing 39 administrative procedures that can reduce the file composition thanks to digital data integration, of which 14 procedures have been upgraded to online public services and 25 procedures are being upgraded.
Evaluating at the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long said that the SBV has been proactive, proactive and taking the lead in building a shared database, meeting the requirements of the Central Steering Committee. He suggested that the SBV soon develop an industry data strategy, complete the architectural framework in accordance with Decree 194/2025/ND-CP, and coordinate with technology enterprises to improve the efficiency of data exploitation for operations and administrative procedure reform.
Speaking at the meeting, Governor Nguyen Thi Hong emphasized that in recent times, the SBV has strongly applied the industry database to operate monetary policy and manage banking activities, and at the same time directed credit institutions to connect data to provide modern capital and services to people and businesses. She affirmed that the SBV will continue to build and perfect a new data system, ensuring compliance with the criteria of "correct, sufficient, clean, living, unified, and shared" set by the Central Steering Committee.
