On September 16, 2025, Market Management Team No. 11, Nghe An Provincial Market Management Department inspected and discovered a vehicle transporting 3 tons of smuggled sand.

According to information from the Domestic Market Management and Development Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), on September 16, 2025, Market Management Team No. 11, Nghe An Province Market Management Department conducted an inspection of a transport vehicle with the brand CHENGLONG with license plate 29H-565.28 driven by Mr. Vu Van Tuan, born in 1990, residing in Chu Ward, Bac Ninh Province.

Through inspection, the Team discovered that the above transport vehicle had hidden 60 bags of white sand, Koreaense SUGAR, originating from Thailand, 50kg/bag with a total weight of 3 tons.

At the time of the inspection, Mr. Vu Van Tuan had not yet presented invoices and documents proving the legality of the goods. Market Management Team No. 11 has sealed and temporarily detained all of the above goods for verification and clarification.

In the coming time, Market Management Team No. 11 will continue to coordinate with functional forces and local authorities to strengthen inspection and control of goods, focusing on products such as health protection foods, functional foods, etc.

Thereby, promptly preventing and handling acts of production and trading of counterfeit, unknown origin, smuggled food, not ensuring quality circulation in the area.
