On August 1st, the Nghe An Provincial Electronic Information Portal posted information that at the Conference announcing the adjustment of the Nghe An Provincial Plan for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050, the province awarded investment policy approval decisions, investment registration certificates, memorandums of understanding and investment cooperation agreements to representatives of 25 typical projects.
The total registered investment of the projects is 110,450 billion VND, focusing on the fields of industry, urban areas, social housing, energy, resort tourism, logistics, industrial park infrastructure and high-tech agriculture.
In which, the project with the largest total investment is the eco-urban, resort and Vi Giam park complex, with registered capital of about 52,600 billion VND.

Some other large-scale projects include the Dong Hoi Port and port logistics and logistics service area project, with an estimated investment capital of 8,010 billion VND; Ngoc Chau Industrial Park phase 1, with an investment capital of about 7,500 billion VND; VSIP Nghe An 5 Industrial Park and Phuc Loc Industrial Park, each project with an estimated investment capital of 6,900 billion VND.
Nghe An also attracts many social housing projects such as the social housing apartment complex in Vinh Phu and Vinh Loc wards, with an investment capital of 3,539 billion VND; social housing project for low-income people and workers in Nam Cam Industrial Park, with an investment capital of 2,140 billion VND; social housing area in Vinh Phu ward, with an investment capital of 1,612 billion VND.
In addition, the province awarded investment registration certificates for dormitory projects, worker dormitories in WHA Industrial Park; factories producing industrial fans, dust filter equipment; rooftop solar power projects and a number of production and processing projects.
According to leaders of Nghe An province, the projects have been reviewed for feasibility and are expected to be concretized into projects soon, creating jobs, increasing budget revenue and forming new growth momentum.
Nghe An province requests departments, branches, and localities to clearly assign focal agencies to monitor each project, proactively support investors to complete procedures, clear ground and remove difficulties in the implementation process.
Heads of agencies and units must directly direct, not shirk, avoid or let business dossiers be prolonged, affecting project progress and development opportunities of the province.
Nghe An sets a target for average GRDP growth rate in the 2026-2030 period to reach 11-12% per year, gradually becoming a national-level growth center.
