Compared to last year, there was a slight increase due to the increase in import tax on alcoholic beverages, and the price of confectionery and packaging also increased. “Currently, the company has launched many attractive promotions such as buy 2 get 1 free, buy 1 box get 1 bottle free or discounts up to 15% (applicable to some specific products) to facilitate people's shopping" - Ms. Huong shared.
In recent years, many people have a need to buy Tet gift baskets to give as gifts. Besides paying attention to the types of cakes, candies, and wine in the gift basket, many people also pay attention to the design of the hand-woven gift baskets made of rattan and bamboo. Therefore, these Tet gift baskets are very popular during this time.
According to Ms. Tran Anh Thu, owner of Anh Thu Bamboo and Rattan Shop (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi), her shop has been proactive in sourcing Tet goods since right after the New Year. “This year, there are many sellers, so my shop has to import many new designs to increase competitiveness, and at the same time reduce prices on some items to stimulate customers' demand. In addition to direct sales, my shop also sells online on e-commerce platforms to expand its customer base and have more incentive programs,” Ms. Anh Thu said.
