According to Decision No. 1567/QD-CT dated June 30, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Bang Thang, Head of the Large Enterprise Tax Department, holds the position of Head of Nghe An Province's Tax Department, along with 5 Deputy Heads of the Provincial Tax Department including Mr. Mai Dinh Tu, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Vy, Mr. Ha Le Dung, Mr. Nguyen Van Duc and Mr. Vo Van Hung.
Nghe An Provincial Tax Department currently manages 9 grassroots taxes, headquartered in the following areas: Thanh Vinh Ward, Hung Nguyen Commune, Do Luong Commune, Anh Son Commune, Quy Hop Commune, Thai Hoa Ward, Quynh Luu Commune, Dien Chau Commune and Cua Lo Ward. The improvement of the organizational apparatus is carried out according to the new two-level local government model.
According to the report of the Nghe An Provincial Department of Finance, in the first 6 months of 2025, the total budget revenue in the area reached nearly VND 14,000 billion, equal to 78% of the annual estimate and increasing by 14% over the same period in 2024. Of which, domestic revenue reached about VND 12,865 billion, revenue from import-export activities is estimated at VND 870 billion.
In 2025, Nghe An sets a budget revenue target of VND26,000 billion, far exceeding the assigned plan of VND17,726 billion. Local financial and tax authorities are focusing on synchronously implementing solutions for administrative reform, expanding tax bases, preventing losses and facilitating taxpayers to complete the set goals.
The Tax Department also issued a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duc, Head of the Tax Department of Region X (now converted to Nghe An Provincial Tax Department), to hold the position of Tax Chief of Ninh Binh Province.
