Mr. Tran Tien Dung was born on March 7, 1975, hometown Nam Dinh province, now Ninh Binh province. At the time of his appointment as Deputy Minister of Justice, he was the youngest Deputy Minister of Justice.
In January 2025, the Politburo decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Tran Tien Dung to hold the position of Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
