Accordingly, Petrolimex's gas station system has been trading E10 gasoline since the end of April, reaching a coverage of about 80% of stores by May 15 and is expected to complete the conversion to trading E10 gasoline on May 20.
In the context of complex fluctuations in the world energy market, Petrolimex - the leading enterprise with the largest market share in the country - quickly demonstrated its leading role by synchronously implementing many solutions from a very early stage. Assessing the reality after more than 8 months of selling E10 gasoline in Ho Chi Minh City, the market has not recorded any incidents or feedback from consumers related to quality.
Consumption output during the E10 pilot period has increased by about 40% compared to the initial time, showing increasingly positive reactions from consumers. Recently, E10 gasoline business output is at 3,000 - 4,000 m3/day.

Immediately after the Prime Minister issued Directive 09/CT-TTg dated March 19, 2026 - setting a target to deploy E10 gasoline right in April 2026 to reduce about 10% of mineral gasoline consumption, Petrolimex - the leading enterprise with the largest market share in the country - urgently and synchronously implemented many solutions from very early on such as creating ethanol sources, investing in completing the tank system, blending technology with 7 E10 gasoline blending warehouses nationwide and standardizing technical processes, operations at the system of more than 2,800 gas stations...
Sharing about the plan to create a source of Ethanol and mineral gasoline input to serve the blending of E10 bio-gasoline, a representative of Petrolimex said that it has been included in the plan since the end of 2025. For Ethanol, right from April 2026, the Group has created a source of nearly 40,000 m3, ready to be brought to ports and blending points to be ready to serve the blending of E10 gasoline.
In the remaining months of 2026, the Group will continue to proactively create Ethanol sources, meeting the mixing needs. For mineral gasoline, the Group has signed long-term (term) contracts from domestic sources and imported sources with a rate of over 80%.
With a high-quality product business strategy, in addition to E10-Ron 95 gasoline product, Euro 3 emission standard, Petrolimex is also selling E10-RON 95 gasoline, Euro 5 emission standard. And in the future, the Group will study to add a list of higher-end products such as E10 RON 97 gasoline, Euro 5 standard.
The deployment of E10 gasoline is also associated with the digital transformation - green transformation strategy. Being assessed by experts as an important link in the goal of ensuring energy security and reducing national emissions, E10 gasoline will truly go into life through synchronous coordination between the State and businesses.

In this process, Petrolimex is playing a key role from the pilot stage, infrastructure preparation to building a comprehensive implementation roadmap. With the proactiveness and pioneering of key enterprises, Vietnam will improve energy self-sufficiency, reduce emissions, promote sustainable development and realize energy transition commitments.
