7 cars collide in a chain reaction on Kim Nguu street in Hanoi

Hanoi - A multi-vehicle accident between 7 cars occurred near the Minh Khai - Kim Nguu - Tam Trinh intersection, causing traffic congestion on the afternoon of May 14.

At about 6 pm on May 14, in the area near the Minh Khai - Kim Nguu - Tam Trinh intersection, Bach Mai ward (Hanoi), a chain collision occurred between 7 cars, causing traffic congestion in the area.

According to people, at the above time, they heard a loud collision in the area in front of house number 346 Kim Nguu street, towards Tam Trinh. Then they discovered 7 vehicles in a chain collision, including 6 cars and 1 bus.

A witness said that the vehicles "stood together", including 2 vehicles heavily damaged in the front and rear.

The accident occurred during the afternoon rush hour, causing many vehicles passing through the area to encounter difficulties and prolonged traffic jams.

Immediately after receiving the news, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 coordinated with Bach Mai Ward Police to be present at the scene to divert traffic and handle the incident.

Functional forces proceeded to mark the scene, requesting drivers to bring vehicles close to the roadside to reduce congestion. By about 7 pm on the same day, traffic through the area had basically stabilized again.

Currently, the cause of the accident is being further clarified by functional agencies.
