On January 14, information from the People's Committee of Dong Cuong commune, the unit has just issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Petrolimex Lao Cai Co., Ltd. for constructing the project without completing procedures to adjust the construction permit according to regulations.
According to the penalty decision, Petrolimex Lao Cai Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Yen Ninh 2 Residential Group, Yen Bai Ward, Lao Cai Province, with Mr. Nguyen Kim Luu as Deputy Director and legal representative.
Through inspection, functional agencies determined that Petrolimex Lao Cai Co., Ltd. had organized the construction of the "Petrolimex Renovation - Store No. 23" project without carrying out procedures to adjust the construction permit according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 98 of the 2014 Construction Law, amended and supplemented in 2020. At the time of inspection, the unit was constructing the item of installing the project door.
This act violates the provisions of point c, clause 3, Article 16 of Decree No. 16/2022/ND-CP dated January 28, 2022 of the Government.
For the above violation, Petrolimex Lao Cai Co., Ltd. was administratively sanctioned with a fine of 60 million VND.
In addition to the form of fines, Dong Cuong Commune People's Committee forced the enterprise to complete procedures to adjust the construction permit according to regulations.
In case of exceeding the above deadline and not voluntarily complying, the enterprise will be subject to enforcement. All costs of organizing enforcement are paid by the violating unit according to the provisions of law.
